Combination Roast
A Combination Roast will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010. Food will start being served at 4pm and will last until it is gone. The menu will consist of your choice of Turkey or Pork Loin, Salt Potatoes, Corn on the Cob, Baked Beans, and dinner roll. Price will be $8.50. Head cook will be Ike Strader. This is available for pick up or delivery (inside the city) Anyone wishing to help with this event please contact Exalted Ruler Ted McDonald at 250-6329.
New Member Initiation
An Initiation for new members will be held on August 3, 2010 with Indoctrination beginning at 5:00 pm and dinner at 6:00. Please come and join your Lodge Officers in welcoming the new members. The next Initiation will be held on November 2, 2010 which is also our District Deputy visit. If you have any friends or family that are thinking about joining, now is a great time to get their application in!

Bottle Drive
The Lodge will be hosting a bottle drive on Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 10am-1pm to raise money to purchase a Wii Game for the Lodge. Please call the Lodge @ 393-5430 for pick up or drop your bottles off at the club during that time. You can also drop them off at Perry’s Redemption Center and make note that they are for the Elks Lodge.

Memorial Day 2010
The Elks participated in the annual laying of the wreath at the Ogdensburg Cemetary.
Quick Draw is now at the Lodge
The first balls rolled on Tuesday, March 23rd. Please stop by the Lodge and have a couple drinks while enjoying a game or two of Quick Draw.
To secure the Quick Draw machine the only people permitted behind the bar are the bartenders and the bar manager.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are now available for your convenience at the bar. They also make nice gifts for that someone special!
Wii Fundraising
The House Committee is currently working on new events for the Lodge. One of the events is another Wii Bowling Tournament for kids and adults. We are looking at having two bottle drives to help raise money to purchase the Wii games. Any one interested in donating their bottles, we will be setting up an account with the A.R.C. on State Street where you can drop off your unwanted bottles. The first bottle drive will be held on Saturday, July 31st from 10am - 2pm. Call the Lodge on this date and we will be glad to pick up your returnable bottles.
Queen of Hearts
The Queen of Hearts is going strong and is currently at
$650.00. The drawing is now every Saturday night at 9pm. Please stop by the
Lodge and purchase your tickets today.

February 2010
PER night is scheduled for February 2nd. Cocktails will be at 5:30pm and dinner at 6:00pm. Initiation and the meeting will follow dinner.
February 6th, our Lodge will host the Regional Hoop Shoot at OFA gym. Registration will begin at 12 pm and the contest will start at 1 pm. Volunteers are needed for both the event and kitchen help.
February 7th is the Annual Super Bowl party. The party will begin at 3 pm and will continue until the game is over. Come and join the fun!
February 14th is the Daytona 500/Wild Game Feed. The party will begin at 1 pm. There will be a variety of food for you to taste while enjoying the Daytona 500. Dave Price will be in the kitchen cooking fish with his secret recipe in hand. Last years menu had duck, bear, venison, fish, and much more.

Annual Elks “Hoop Shoot”
- Lodge competition will be held on January 9th at OFA gym. Registration will begin at 2pm and the competition will start at 3pm.
- Our Lodge will be hosting the District “Hoop Shoot” on January 16th at OFA gym. All eight Lodges from the North Central District will be in attendance. Registration will begin at 2pm and competition will begin at 3pm.
- On February 6th our Lodge will be hosting the Regional “Hoop Shoot” at OFA gym. Registration will start at 2pm and competition will begin at 3pm. Dinner and awards will be at the Lodge following the competition.
On January 24th there is a District Deputy Clinic in Gouverneur at 1pm. All Officers are encouraged to attend and members are welcome. If you are interested please be at the Lodge by 11:45am.
The Annual Chili Cook-Off is scheduled for January 30th. The Lodge will be open at 6am. The Chili must be cooked at the Lodge in electric cookers only! There is a $20.00 entry fee. Judging will begin at 3pm. Chili tasting is $1.50 per sample or $5.00 to taste all. Proceeds benefit the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club. To pre-register contact the Lodge.
