December 18, annual Children's Christmas Party from 1pm to 3pm.

December 23, Christmas party featuring Lacy Stoddard singing from 7pm to 10pm. Stop in and have dinner, listen to some great music and support your Lodge! Free to members and guests! Holiday drink specials available.

August 2011

August 6, 2011 -  District  Golf Tournament to support our District Events including Hoop Shoot, Soccer Shoot, Ritual Competition, etc. Teams are welcomed from all Lodges. For more information please contact PDD Scott Hirst at 804-3512.

Jennifer Neaton (PSVP) and Stuart Rishe (DDGER) . Cocktails at 5PM, Dinner to follow at
6PM. Sandy will need help in the kitchen, serving and to clean up. Please sign up now to help.

July 4, 2011 - Morristown Independence Day Parade at 10am. Meeting at the lodge at 8:45.

June 2011

June 25, 2011 - Trip to Gouverneur Elks Lodge - Members from all Lodges in our District are asked to show your support of a sister Lodge in need. We will be meeting in Gouverneur around 4pm for an evening of Bell Jar Tickets, LRC dice(for fun only), cocktails, and District Wide Camaraderie. Pizza & Wings will be available for dinner. Please show your support.

June 18, 2011 - Comedy Night featuring headliner Comedian Jamie Lissow from Rochester, NY. Tickets available by calling the Gouverneur Elks @ 287-1630 or  Stuart @ 323-2202.Dinner & Show - $30.00 (includes Prime Rib or Chicken Parmesan). Show only -$15.00.

Sunday, June 12, 2011 - Flag Day Ceremony - This year's Flag Day parade and ceremony start at 2PM. Officers in Tuxes. Please stop by and support your lodge!

Vietnam Moving Wall - Come out and show your support for our Vietnam Veterans. The Moving Wall will be here from June 2 to 5. Some events to keep in mind include:

  • Thursday, June 2, 7pm Opening Ceremony
  • Friday, June 3, 7pm Elks Ceremony
  • Sunday, June 5, 7pm Closing Ceremony

April 2011

District Deputy Clinic - Friday, April 29, 2011 - Representative from the other seven Lodges in the North Central District will be at our Lodge for a District Clinic. Dinner will be around 5PM, help in the kitchen and to serve as well as clean up will be needed to help bring this dinner off smoothly. Please sign up now to help.

January 2011

Annual Elks “Hoop Shoot”

  • Lodge competition will be held on January 9th at OFA gym. Registration will begin at 2pm and the competition will start at 3pm.
  • Our Lodge will be hosting the District “Hoop Shoot” on January 16th at OFA gym. All eight Lodges from the North Central District will be in attendance. Registration will begin at 2pm and competition will begin at 3pm.
  • On February 6th our Lodge will be hosting the Regional “Hoop Shoot” at OFA gym. Registration will start at 2pm and competition will begin at 3pm. Dinner and awards will be at the Lodge following the competition.

On January 24th there is a District Deputy Clinic in Gouverneur at 1pm. All Officers are encouraged to attend and members are welcome. If you are interested please be at the Lodge by 11:45am.

The Annual Chili Cook-Off is scheduled for January 30th. The Lodge will be open at 6am. The Chili must be cooked at the Lodge in electric cookers only! There is a $20.00 entry fee. Judging will begin at 3pm. Chili tasting is $1.50 per sample or $5.00 to taste all. Proceeds benefit the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club. To pre-register contact the Lodge.
